Cheese Nook - Website

For those of you familiar with the Cheese Nook Gourmet & Gift Shop on Sanibel Island, Florida; our website @ www.cheesenook.com is almost done. Please note, it will take some time for us to offer ALL of our products online. However, we started with our very own line of Sanibel Seasoning dips and herb mixes (created by us) and our ever growing hot sauce collection.

With economic challenges greater than they have been in the last 40 years, I GREATLY appreciate those of you who have frequented the store and found that something special to bring home to family or friends or for yourself. Since, the store's birth in 1973, it wouldn't be here if it weren't for you; THANK YOU! And being the new owner as of December 2008, I bought the store hoping I could continue to count on you.

I created the website to help with the LEAN summers (this year being 34% down from last year - yuck!) and we still have September to go - the worst month yet, yikes. Am I nervous? - I'd have to say yes. Although, I have the confidence the economy will get better, I truly hope you will share your experience at The Cheese Nook with family and friends and help me promote our website @ www.cheesenook.com.

I love my little store, it means the world to me and it is so endearing to hear that many of you feel the same way. I want to run the store for the next 30 years and then hand it off to my son or someone else who always loved the store as a customer but I will need your help.

As I mentioned before, it will take quite some time to get everything we offer on the website; but please, don't hesitate to give us a call - we'll be more than happy to take phone orders too!
